Once upon a time, the name Disney was synonymous with magic. Under the leadership of founder, Walt Disney, the company rose from humble beginnings to become the mightiest media empire on the planet. Today, Disney is selling off assets so fast, it looks like they’re having a garage sale. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
Disney has always had deep, dark secrets. It’s never been what it’s appeared to be. But that’s an entirely different blog altogether. Regardless, given the sad current state of affairs, it’s unlikely The House of Mouse will ever regain its magic. Disney singlehandedly destroyed Star Wars, the most successful brand in pop culture history. That feat alone assures Disney a permanent spot in the Hall of Shame.
