The Media is the Virus

When I was fifteen or sixteen, I saw a documentary that had been produced in the 1950s about propaganda. I don’t remember any details about the film after so many years, but I know it made a lasting impression on me. Because I never, ever looked at media the same way again. I don’t trust the media. 

Do you?

How far back should we go for proof that the media can’t be trusted? Let’s start with 1963. A sitting American president was assassinated in front of a televised audience, his head blown off in front of the world. It didn’t take long to spot the holes in the official explanation of the murder. We were told the murderer was a “lone gunman” shooting from a distant building. We were told this in spite of credible evidence to the contrary, i.e., gunfire was heard from areas down on the ground by several witnesses, the wound in JFK’s head was caused by a bullet that didn’t come from the “lone gunman’s” rifle. Immediately after being arrested, the lone gunman was himself murdered. (on television again) Over 100 witnesses, investigators, and others with links to the murder of JFK have died, and the majority of them died under suspicious circumstances. It’s generally acknowledged that the majority of the American people do not believe the official explanation for the murder of JFK. 

FYI... the term “conspiracy theory” is a modern term, created in direct result of the death of JFK. The purpose of the term was to both negate and dismiss any ideas contrary to the official narrative. Don’t forget... the media still supports that official narrative. 

Fast forward to September 11 2001. Once again, we witnessed televised murder, only this time, it was mass murder. It looked like something out of a Hollywood disaster movie. Four airliners were hijacked... simultaneously. We saw two of the airliners crash into two skyscrapers. We saw the remnants of two other plane crashes, one of which made a hole in the Pentagon. Like the murder of JFK, the official explanation as to the events of 911 was filled with holes big enough to fly a jet through. 

On that fateful morning, four airplanes flew off radar, yet there was no response from NORAD as there should have been. In New York, two planes crashed into two skyscrapers, yet three buildings collapsed... all three in the exact same free fall manner. The official report by the 911 Commission failed to address the collapse of this third building at all. The official report also failed to acknowledge that never before in history has a steel framed high rise building collapsed from fire. Never. The alleged hijackers had trained to fly small aircraft (not airlines) and were judged by their instructors to be virtually incompetent. Yet they pulled off amazing aerial maneuvers that would have challenged the most skilled of pilots. An organization called Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth published an exhaustive study that completely destroyed the official explanation. As with the murder of JFK, the media still supports the official narrative. Any opinion to the contrary is naturally dismissed as “conspiracy theory”. 

Does anyone remember those “weapons of mass destruction” that we heard so much about? Those non-existent WMDs combined with the questionable official account of 911, thrust America into its longest running war, a war that still rages. Countless lives (on both sides of the ocean) have been lost or ruined. This so-called “war on terror” was founded on lies, and it was the media that promoted those lies and continues to do so. 

By the way, does anyone remember the passport of one of the hijackers that was found amidst the rubble in New York? The media actually reported that ludicrous fairy tale with a straight face. 

The presidential election year of 2016 marked a new low for media. That was the year the majority of the media acted as the official mouthpiece for the Democratic party. There was no pretense of impartiality, which made Hillary Clinton’s eventual loss a total surprise. It must have surprised her too. It surprised me. I thought the bitch was a sure thing, particularly with the media, Wall Street, the military industrial complex, Silicon Valley, and Hollywood on her side. As always, the media had a handy explanation for the surprise loss. It was completely due to Russian interference/collusion, a debunked “conspiracy theory” promoted in the media to this very day. The cold war was reignited, and Donald Trump zoomed past Adolf Hitler and Charles Manson to become the official Icon of Evil. Paradoxically, Trump also became the best friend the media ever had, giving it something colorful and entertaining to talk about ad nauseum.

However, there’s another plausible explanation for Clinton’s surprise loss. In the summer of 2016, mere months before the election, Wikileaks published thousands of emails, many of which gave a deep insight into the inner workings of the Democratic party and the Clinton political machine. It wasn’t a pretty sight either. The emails revealed that the Bernie Sanders campaign had been strategically undermined during the primaries by the Democratic National Committee, a fact the DNC didn’t even deny. Sanders never had a fair chance. 

But perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the Wikileaks revelations were the so-called “Podesta emails”. These strange series of emails were so named because many of them involved Clinton campaign manager John Podesta. Close examination of these emails revealed text and images involving inappropriate references to children. This is the origin of the so-called “PizzaGate” conspiracy theory. But rather than examining these emails and questioning those involved about the bizarre content, the media did something else. The media completely ignored the suspicious content, choosing instead to both misreport and misrepresent the facts. The media falsely claimed that these emails accused Hillary Clinton of running a pedophile ring out of a pizza parlor. This, among other lies, formed the “official” explanation for “PizzaGate”. The media used this “conspiracy theory” as the first official example of “fake news”. 

Hillary Clinton and her old boss, Barack Obama have remained media darlings throughout their long careers. The way they’re deified, you’d think there was something noble about them. Can you imagine if Trump had wiped his ass with a devastated Haiti the way the Clinton Foundation did? It would have been reported. Instead it went unreported. When it comes to Clinton Crimes, expect a media blackout. Obama was a construct/mirage from the very beginning, a willing tool of Wall Street, Silicon Valley, and the Military Industrial Complex. His partner in crime was the media which sold him like a cross between Coca-cola and Martin Luther King. He proved to be neither. No less than Dr. Cornell West called him “the face of American imperialism”.

During the 2020 Presidential election, media morphed into a new and more dangerous monster. Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon and Twitter officially formed an unholy alliance. Like something out of  George Orwell’s book, 1984, they combined to form a Ministry of Truth. These monopolistic companies now control the free flow of information in America. Private corporations now decide what Americans can see and hear. As a result, there’s been a wave of censorship unlike anything ever before seen in this country. America has become a one narrative nation, and no views to the contrary will be tolerated. How soon before debate is labeled “hate speech”? How long before dissent becomes illegal? We’ve entered a dystopian reality that worsens everyday. The most horrifying fact is that most Americans are unaware of what’s happening. 

There’s a good reason why they don’t know. They haven’t been told. If ever there were a time to not trust the media, that time is now. 

Given this brief yet troubling history of media, what are we to make of the Covid “song” that’s been put in perpetual rotation?

The media is the virus.
